The teams of design challenge ‘Our energy, Our landscape’ are known!

Studio Solarix has been selected by a professional jury to be part of the design challenge ‘Our energy, our landscape“. In this, Staatsbosbeheer, National Landscape Het Groene Woud and Kunstloc Brabant are looking for smart, sustainable and multifunctional solutions based on renewable energy forms. We are well aware of that!

Together with a varying team, Renier Bosch will answer the question ‘How can we make a sound-proof design, in which energy generation is linked to the surrounding nature and also appeals to the imagination?’ for the highway landscape of the A67 near the Strabrechtse Heide .

The team consists of representatives from different parties such as VenhoevenCS architecture+urbanism, DS Landschaparchitecten and of course Studio Solarix. This team sees infrastructure as a significant part of the landscape: “they form a barrier, but at the same time can be regarded as a new biotope where continuous exchange takes place”.

Connective design is central to this design challenge, in which a combination is made between spatial quality, energy generation and nature improvement. We look forward to shaping this challenge together with our partners!
