Line Collection.

After the basic collection (the Dot collection), Solarix will introduce the Line collection in 2021. This collection of ceramic-coloured solar panels for the facade was designed by designer Eefiene Bolhuis with nature as the starting point. By looking at veins on leaves, she began to texture the panels with hand-drawn lines and colours. Precisely by preserving imperfections in the drawn lines, a natural pattern is created that makes the facade look natural when you walk past it.

Within the collection, lines are applied in various ways and combined with colour. There are two directions: 1 where a harder ‘pen’ line is visible and 1 direction where soft ‘brush’ lines overlap. In addition, the lines can be applied horizontally, vertically or diagonally, single or multiple layers on panels to create a weave effect. The Line collection offers Solarix endless possibilities to develop unique patterns for the facade.

Inspired by nature

For this collection, we wanted to give a more material feel to our designs, reflectingthe “imperfection” of nature that inspired us. We looked at the grain structures of leaves and lines in wood that repeat themselves, giving depth and shape to the surface. The lines are never perfectly straight and are all unique and different.

Timeless designs with a personal and human touch

Solarix develops innovative solar facade panels. We are at the forefront of the market and are the only company to develop our own collections. For this collection, we wanted to give a more material feel to our designs, reflecting the “imperfection” of nature that inspired us. Timeless designs with a personal and human feeling, like a skin for a building. The skin of a building should feel friendly and pleasant to live in, look good to walk by and have certain natural imperfections.

95 / 5.000 Vertaalresultaten A pattern with integrated transparency in the design to increase energy yields

We want to stay far away from boring black solar panels. By playing with the lines and transparency, we have approached this differently in the Line collection. We didn’t hide the black of solar panels, but integrated it into the design as part of the colour palette. Thereby, more energy yield for the facade is achieved.

The lines provide colour nuances up close and suggest smooth movements from afar
