WelcomeCharley Ebbink to the sales team! After studying Science, Business and Innovation with a specialization in Energy and Sustainability, he now applies his motivation at Studio Solarix.

Charley likes to talk to new customers to see how beautiful energy-generating solar facades can be realized together: “I can totally envision the built environment being completely covered in aesthetically pleasing Solarix panels and that our environment will be (partly) energy neutral as a result.”

Sustainability as a passion

Before his work at Studio Solaris, Charley spent a lot of time on the tennis court and taught at tennis camps in the summer. Last summer he met founder Marloes van Heteren there and they started talking about sustainability.

Charley took the minor Technology Entrepreneurship during his studies and had looked at the facade for energy generation, but in the form of sun screens that generate energy by making them from organic solar cells. A nice idea, but a good business case was not yet possible because of the lifespan.

His passion for sustainability was clear and Studio Solarix therefore offered him a new adventure. Charley is now directly involved in making society more sustainable on a daily basis, the same motivation that prompted him to follow his studies.

Nature lover
Sustainability is not Charley’s only passion! For this sports enthusiast, sport and nature are the ideal combination and he can often be found on his mountain bike or on the tennis court during the weekend.
