Vacancy: Project Engineer

Working as a Project Engineer at Solarix

At Solarix you work at the intersection of sustainability, high-tech and design. As a Project Engineer you play a crucial role in translating innovative solar energy solutions into applicable facade designs. You advise architects, clients and (facade) builders on the integration of our design solar panels and support the sales team with technical issues. From the first analysis to the final realization, you work on projects that make buildings not only energy-positive, but also aesthetically distinctive. Together with the Project Leader Operations you ensure that every project is technically worked out down to the last detail and is ready for production and installation. Thanks to your expertise and innovative mindset you contribute directly to the energy transition and the buildings of the future.

What are you going to do?

  • Perform solar checks: Initial technical analysis of the possibilities for integrated solar panels based on a 3D model.

  • Perform solar scans: Further engineering, detailing, heat maps, technical specifications and electrical diagrams.

  • Provide and check drawings in the work preparation.

  • Support with budgets, quotations and purchasing processes.

  • Maintain contact with suppliers, architects, contractors and E-installers.

  • Independently manage smaller projects and attend construction meetings.

Who are we looking for?

  • HBO or WO education in a relevant technical direction.

  • At least 2 years of experience in the (facade) construction and/or solar sector.

  • Strong technical skills and experience with AutoCAD, BIM, SketchUp and Excel (knowledge of additional software is a plus).

  • Good communication skills in Dutch and English.

  • Driving license B and willing to supervise projects on location.

  • You are analytical, accurate and have a passion for sustainable innovation.
