The Jay - Bajes gebouw H - Bajes kwartier
The project
In the renewed Bajes Kwartier, Building H is being given a second life as student housing. This iconic project, developed by AM, is part of the transformation of the former Bijlmer Bajes into a sustainable, green urban district.
For the front façade, architecture firm OMA has designed an innovative solar façade that seamlessly combines aesthetics with energy generation. The façade features 130 suede-black Solarix solar panels, integrated into prefab aluminium frames, covering a total surface area of 193 m². This creates a striking architectural statement while ensuring a perfect fit with the overall design.

De Kikker primary school
The facade of the Bredeschool located in Osdorp needs to be replaced and is being redeveloped with a lively and energy-generating facade. A custom coloring and design has been developed that builds on the old facade but is also fresh and playful!

Villa Lichtenberg
A beautifully designed, low-energy and maintained villa with a complete energy-generating facade. The facade is designed in a rhythmic pattern of various custom-made coloured solar panels in a combination of moss and sand tones.
