Hommersen
The project
Hommersen Solar is an installer of solar panels and built their own sustainable business hall with office in Zwaag in 2023. In addition to the standard solar panels on the roof, the company also wanted to show that solar panels on the facade are also possible. Above the entrance, they have included a number of large coloured facade solar panels in the colour ocker. The eye-catcher of the building, but also a vision of the future of solar.

Solarix solar facade
Hommersen Solar wanted a nice, cheerful color for the facade solar panels. They were enthusiastic about one of the designs in a large dot that we had previously used in a project for Rijkswaterstaat. Solarix developed the solar panels and detailing and soon later delivered the colored solar panels with mounting system to the customer.
Process
After Hommersen Solar saw the possibilities of Solarix solar panels at a trade fair, they were immediately contacted to see what was possible for their new business premises. After choosing the colour and dimensions, the order quickly became a fact. Hommersen installs and assembles the panels himself.

Pharos Hoofddorp

The butterfly effect
As part of the Design Challenge 'Our Energy Our Landscape', Solarix, together with VenhoevenCS and DS Landscape Architects, presented 'The Butterfly Effect', which focuses on generating clean energy above the highway in an inventive and beautiful way.
Head office Kuijpers
Het kantoorgebouw van ingenieursbureau Kuijpers heeft een primeur. Dit is het eerste gebouw in de wereld waarbij in de gevel Solar Design in 2018 al is toegepast.
